HUB FOR COMMUNITY INNOVATION

HUB Partners

The HUB for Community Innovation is home to five community critical nonprofit partners working collectively to bring community innovation to the surrounding neighborhoods. "We want to provide resources and opportunities that bolster equitable access to all aspects of a thriving community" (Shell Berry, President, Community Foundation of the CSRA). The vision was to provide an opportunity - starting with the Community Innovation Center - for some of the local and on-the-ground nonprofits in the community to expand on the great work they were already doing.

Since its opening, HUB Partners have brought cross-collaborative programming to the residents of Harrisburg and beyond, including those that focus on Literacy, Wellness, and School Readiness. The Partners are also involved in the work of the Collaborative, building pathways to independence for the area's residents. These areas include Economic Mobility, Cradle-to-Career Education, and Community Wellness.
